Alright I can finally be able to do Dreamcasts again, first of all I thought I re-do some of the DC's I use to be able to do back when the DC post was at the FUN board at the VAA so I thought I do the Darkstalkers series. I know that things are different at the VAA now so I admit most of my choices will be a bit different now. But still here we go!
Anakaris- Russ
To kick this off I thought I start this off with Russ as I do feel quite confident that he can do a low fairly regal tone for the mighty Pharaoh here.
Anita- Shudo Ranmaru
Shudo is very much a go-to gal for cutesy higher voices but I am thinking of something a lot more melancholy but still moderately high and cutesy. Basically something like her Ellincia voice in that Fire Emblem fandub we're in but a bit higher.
B.B Hood- Sachibelle
In this highly demented little take on Red Riding Hood she appears to be a cutesy little girl whom is actually quite the maniacal little pyschopath. Sachi is great at fairly higher voices and I do feel confident that she would have fun with this role.
Bishamon- U-1
Its probably not too hard to tell that I would be wanting a fairly low gruff monstrous tone with a Japanese accent so I figured that U-1 would be a natural choice for this.
Cecil- Dinkar
This was a fairly easy choice as Dinkar is easily one of VAA's best when it comes to young boy voices so this felt like a fairly natural choice.
Demitri Maximoff- Edwyn
Yes I know its because its from my old fairly long discontinued SNK Vs. Capcom Chaos project but I can't help it Edwyn was just too perfect for the role, I can't help but to pick him again.
Demitri Maximoff's Maidens- Batgirl, Fruitfly, Fairuza, Dragonknighttara, Usako and more.
This is pretty much for the various ladies here whom can do sultry lower voices which in all honesty is a lot.
Donovan Baine- LionelRGuy
I would need a fairly low (but not really deep) firmly serious voice for this troubled Dhamphir and I do feel that Lionel would be the right man for the job. (I admit I did consider the idea of a Hindu accent for Donovan but regardless of whether if I would go for it or not I do feel that Lionel can do it well.)
Emily (the little girl to the right)- Mirielle
This one was fairly difficult to cast but I do remember that Mirielle can do German accents fairly well. And I do remember a German accented voice she did for me in a audition a while back and if she can do it fairly higher and it should work.
Felicia- Emma
I am thinking of a fairly high cutesy cheerful tone for everyone's favorite bouncy catgirl here. (Though the fact that she is well known for singing does certainly help here.)
Hsien Ko- Mochan
I am thinking of a fairly cute but moderate tone of voice for the Kuang-si here but the fact that Mochan can do that with a Chinese accent certainly does help.
Huitzil- Lanipator
For the Aztec Robot Huitzil I am actually thinking of something like Lani's Shenron voice from Team FourStar's DBZ Abridged (but obviously adding in robotic sound/flanging) would be perfect for this role.
Jedah- Lioncourt
LC is very good at doing lower voices an I am thinking that he could do a fairly low smooth yet sinister voice that would fit perfectly well for Jedah here.
Jon Talbain- Ravenstone
Raven is one of the better choices in the VAA if you want a British accented voice and I can certainly picture him doing a fairly low, gruff British accented voice for this old Martial Artist Werewolf from England.
Lillith Aensland- Scarlotte
I am thinking of a fairly high cutesy playful tone that I can picture Scarlotte being able to do not too mention do a performance that would fit Lillith's kinky nature. (Well what with Lillith being a Succubus and all.
Lord Raptor- Shockdingo
I was rather tempted in selfcasting here but I do remember one of ShockDingo's outtakes in my old SVC project in which he did an accent that sounded very Australian. In other words I can certainly picture him doing a moderate to moderately low rough maniacal Aussie-accented voice for this Zombie rocker here.
Morrigan Aensland- Cristina Vee
This was actually fairly hard to do as there are plenty of ladies in the VAA whom can do this role just fine. But I do feel confident that Cristina can definitely do a fairly low smooth sexy tone for this fairly infamous succubi here.
Pyron- Sketch
This did take me a little while to figure out who to cast, but then I remembered Sketch's lower voices that does give him some good potential for this almighty conqueror from another world.
Q Bee- codeblackhayate
This is one of those cases that I pretty much go "Why not?" besides her demo did prove that she can do higher voices fairly well though if you can do it with a more nasally tone she would be suitable for this insect queen here.
Rikuo- Ryusuke
I am thinking of something similar to his Chronos aud he sent me for my Bloody Roar project could actually work rather well for the young family Mer-man.
Sasquatch-Pokejedservo
Yes folks believe it or not of all the Darkstalkers roles I could cast myself as I picked Sasquatch and I figured why not? I do feel like I can do a fairly low gruff voice that can be friendly when he is being a goofy furball or a bit more beastly when Sasquatch is a bit more feral.
Victor- Jercobalt
Jerco is a natural at deep lower voices and according to his profile he can do it with a German accent in which that would definitely help.
And this is my first DC, and yes like last time I will most likely do plenty of Fighting game series' again but of course I will do various others as well. Well until next time!
